Many greetings!
Over the past few months, I have been gathering information on homes being built by "regular" people and by professional practices and designers. It is in hope that in a near future, I would be able to begin my own project. Your house is by far the best example of clean, simple, and modern use of design, technologies, and materials. Nowhere have I seen the clarity and quality of your project. Who knows, maybe 100K house will be similar, but, it is not built yet. As it stands now, I want to thank you for sharing your experiences and the final product. It is greatly appreciated!
J.D.

P.S.
The same goes for your website. Although sometimes brief and a little slow, it provides a very clear overview of what you guys have been up to. Thank you, again!

Wow, what a nice compliment!

We worked really hard on this project and it is very rewarding to get feedback, such as yours. I think one of the problems with new modern design, at least here in Denver, is that no one will allow it to be simple. People try to make a house "interesting" by adding more & more materials, shapes, rooflines, etc. We strongly believe that form should follow function and the quality and interest should come from using the least amount of different materials-- but selecting beautiful and durable products.

Are you working on the 100K house? Just curious how you came across our blog?

Thanks a lot, Nancy

I will! I walked by the other day and saw the landscapers. Asked if one of them was Angelo, even. They said you were inside, but I didn't want to intrude. Now that the weather's cooling, I'll be walking more in the day (instead of at midnight), so it's more likely I'll stop and say hi.

I'm fresh out of large art, alas.

Well phooey. Mac.com doesn't like HTML in comments, I guess.
